Call for Speakers: Share Your Expertise at the BAFT International Trade and Payments Conference

We are excited to invite industry leaders, subject matter experts, innovators, and thought leaders to apply to speak at the BAFT International Trade and Payments Conference from February 10 – 12, 2025 in Washington DC. We seek dynamic speakers who can engage, inspire, and educate our diverse trade and payments attendees.

Session Topics:

Sessions are divided into three sub-groups: General Session, Trade Track, and Payments Track. Keynote or TEDx speakers can choose from the key theme/topic listings or propose their topic for consideration. A maximum submission of two topics, regardless of sub-group is allowed per institution.

Speaker Guidelines

We welcome submissions from experienced speakers and new voices alike. Please be reminded of our speaker guidelines.

  • We encourage a diverse group of speakers – expertise, institution/company, regional representation, gender, etc. for our sessions.
  • Speakers should showcase their expertise and thought leadership in the topic and must not use the platform to sell or market their products/services.
  • Speaker submissions are limited to two (2) per company/institution, regardless of sub-category.
  • No speaker substitution is allowed after we confirm a speaker for a session.
  • The speaker must be able to attend the conference in person. Please do not apply if you cannot adhere to this requirement.
  • The speaker is responsible for covering their travel expenses and discounted conference fees for the event.
  • A submission doesn’t guarantee a speaking opportunity in the program. Our program planning committee will evaluate all speakers for their fit for the session and other criteria. If there are multiple qualified speakers for a session, BAFT members and sponsors will be given priority consideration for session slots to acknowledge the participation and support of BAFT members and sponsors in the event.
  • Speakers must sign a speaker release to participate in a BAFT conference. The release allows BAFT to use speaker photos, bio, slides, and session recordings to promote the event and share with attendees as appropriate.
