Before departing for the Federal Reserve, Pelosi was the global head of compliance at Travelex Global Business Payments (now Western Union Business Solutions). Samantha also supported the anti-money laundering mission of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) of the US Treasury Department as a senior attorney implementing the USA PATRIOT Act. She began her career in the corporate and project finance departments of the law firm Morrison & Foerster.

He has also spent a year on secondment at the New York Fed, working in their Financial Institutions Supervision Group. John joined the RTGS Renewal programme in December 2015 as the Business Lead. In 2020 John represented the Bank on the CPMI Cross-Border Payments Task Force.

Prior to this role, Alan was Chief Revenue Officer for Traxpay, a payments and supply chain Fintech based in Germany. During his tenure, he grew the startup to over 100 employees, playing a key role in platform development and initial go-to-market relationship building with financial institutions. Alan is an experienced payments and treasury professional who was previously Managing Director and Corporate Banking Group Executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML). In this role, Alan worked with global corporates to provide corporate lending and treasury management solutions to them around the world. Prior to BAML, Alan held Transaction Banking leadership roles, along with product management positions, at JPMorgan in New York and London. Prior to JPMorgan, Alan held Product Management and Operations roles at American Express.

Michael is part of HCL Financial Services and is focused on the emerging challenges in banking.  Ongoing initiatives include the application of machine learning – artificial intelligence to payment processes, contextual banking opportunities with Fintechs and the incorporation of new technologies into financial institutions. Michael's primary research focus is in product development practices that counteract the effects of turbulent markets on product launches.   He has multiple ongoing research projects both inside and outside of HCL. Previously, Michael spent almost two decades at IBM and, prior to IBM, was part of a number of Internet start-ups for supply chain, eCommerce and financial services.  Michael began his career as a Certified Public Accountant working both in public practice and in industry.

  • Andrew McFarlane became Payments Canada’s Executive Director of Modernization in March 2020 and is currently responsible for leading the modernization of Canada’s core clearing and settlement payments infrastructure. As a member of the Accenture team, Andrew has been a valuable contributor to Modernization of programs since early 2017, working with our member financial institutions and other stakeholders in Canada to gain their support for modernizing payments. Prior, Andrew consulted extensively in the financial services industry with Accenture in Ireland, in addition to leading the consulting firm’s open banking activities globally and shaping Accenture’s response to the Payments Services Directive 2 (PSD2) in Europe.

Kevin has more than 30 years of banking experience, which includes relationship management and cash management.  He joined HSBC as a Senior Sales Manager for GBM in 2004, and covered a variety of industry sectors.  Prior to joining HSBC, Kevin spent 16 years with ABN AMRO Bank, including six years in Amsterdam working in ABN AMRO's Global Client and Global Transaction Services divisions.   Kevin holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, and has received the Certified Treasury Professional credential from Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).

Stacy brings over 20 years of experience in banking and technology shaping market initiatives, launching new solutions, managing risk and product management. She is responsible for core payments products and serves as the business lead for the Payments Hub transformation initiative. She joined Santander in September 2018.  Prior to Santander, Stacy held leadership roles in payments strategy, product development, industry engagement and innovation at Accenture and SWIFT. She began her banking career at Bank of America as a Treasury Solutions Technology and Product Consultant.  Stacy is an industry expert and speaker on Payments, Standards and FinTech. In 2016, Stacy was honored with Global Finance’s Who’s Who in Treasury and Cash Management.

  • Katherine Zaveri is Vice President of Global Payments at StoneX, where she specializes in helping banks, international NGOs and corporate clients deliver funds to the developing world. Prior to joining StoneX in 2015, Katherine began her career in finance working under Ray Dalio at Bridgewater Associates. In 2019, she was selected for the BAFT Future Leaders Program, where she co-authored a whitepaper on the future role of banks in correspondent banking. Katherine has lived and worked throughout Central and South America and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
