Who We Are

BAFT is the association for organizations actively engaged in international transaction banking. It serves as the leading forum for bringing the financial community and its suppliers together to collaborate on shaping market practices, influencing regulation and legislation through global advocacy, developing and adapting new and existing instruments that facilitate the settlements of products and service offerings for clients, providing education and training, and contributing to the safety and soundness of the global financial system.

BAFT hosts a large number of events throughout the globe each year, focusing on information, education and networking for our members. Trade Finance Workshops

BAFT Trade Finance Workshops bring together bankers to learn from case studies and from the group’s extensive experience. These workshops focus on the complex issues facing the transaction banking industry and offer ample opportunities for education and networking.

Each year BAFT hosts 100 senior transaction bankers and key industry leaders for invitation-only, half-day events in advance of the Asian Banker Summit and SIBOS. Please contact Nancy Monahan, nmonahan@baft.org.

Exclusive and shared sponsorships are available. The BAFT event occurs from 8:30am to 1:30pm and includes breakfast and lunch.
